03 November – FSCC Skills versus Attitude, which matters most Webinar
Amongst many, one of the mandates of the Forest Sector Charter Council (Council), is to publicise the Amended Forest Sector Code to all the key stakeholders. Moreover, the Council has prioritised engaging with young professional even for the year 2020/21 on matters of importance in support of B-BBEE implementation. The Council will be hosting a webinar for forestry professionals and invite you to participate.
The webinar is intended at unpacking one of the elements being “Skills Development”, considering the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on job creation and retention. The topic for the webinar is “Skills versus Attitude, which matters most”.
We will be having prominent guest speakers who will give some insights on this important subject. It is anticipated that our forest professionals will gain a greater understanding of how skills and attitude impacts employment prospects, as well orient young professional about what skills and attitudes employers’ value.
