Research
My research is applied science, which requires the application of scientific research to real-world situations. It includes determining the productivity of new forestry equipment, collecting data in the field and analysing it statistically in the office before producing reports for operational staff and decision-makers. Another example of what I do is ergonomic trials to get a better understanding of the interactions between people and the way they work, to reduce ergonomic strain.
