Amendments to General Regulations assist FSA members

As per our message yesterday the General Regulations have been amended.

The inclusion of powers to the Minister of Transport [4 (D) (c)] to direct sea and air cargo and the provision for the movement of goods from ports to their destination [11 B B (iii)bb], will assist us greatly in clearing the blockages at ports and re-commissioning services which have been reduced or closed.

Annex B 4 included coal, wood and gas under the definition of fuels which will assist in the energy needs for forestry and processing operations.

28 B Allows for the transport of goods between neighbouring countries which will assist in the border challenges regarding timber imports, which we have managed to unblock on an ad hoc basis so far.
